1985 OG Chicago
This piece was drawn using reference to my Pop's 1985 Chicago 1 OG's. He wore them for ball, so the piece features the iconic shoe worn down while exposing tears in the leather, loose stitching, and discolored soles all in my signature style using alcohol based markers and ink. The details are incredible.
The border/mat of the original piece is handmade using Nike Jordan Retro 1 shoeboxes and adds texture as well as a mixed media element that really sets this piece apart. That mat has also been printed onto the purchasable print you see here making this a truly unique piece for any sneaker head. Available in two sizes to fit any space. One of my favorite pieces, hands down!
