This 24x36" Framed original is beautiful piece packed with technique, an eye catching palette, and a huge variety of collected shoeboxes
Derived from the notion of turning your lows into highs, the piece displays a cubism styled women, crying tears made from Jordan 11 plastic sleeves onto hand carved dirt where a flower has blossomed. A piece made when I had feelings of lows, while keeping in mind that the good was yet to come and to stay the course. Additional details to notice are the hand carved roses, vines, and hearts along the bordering background boxes.
Made COMPLETELY out of shoeboxes and the contents within them. 100% hand carved, cut, assembled. Includes custom white metal frame and Non-glare acrylic. This piece took well over 100 hours to complete.
